Portraits in Mosaic
What could be more heartwarming than a mosaic portrait of a beloved pet, made with treasures, to cherish forever? Delaine creates highly textural portraits of dogs, cats, other animals, and even occasionally people. The portraits are based on photo templates and are made with ceramic, glass, and found objects. Color schemes play into the piece, representing the subject’s personality. Portrait prices start at $200 for a square foot size, $100 per additional square foot.
Sadly, we lost Jasmine last November, so I am really pleased we had her portrait done. It has received many compliments and is a lasting tribute to her memory.
